eMedicalAssistance: Eligibility Requests

Batch processing of Medicaid eligibility requests.

If you can export client first and last names, social security numbers, and dates of birth, we can import these data elements into the client database of eMedicalAssistance. We batch eligibility requests on all imported clients to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and report on the results.  This reduces the time and effort needed to monitor the status and payor relationships of a client.  The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has certified us as vendors.

We provide the following reports:

§          Full eligibility report for all clients in a particular program.

§          Change reports showing gain or loss of Medicaid or managed care eligibility.

§          A listing of all clients currently not subscribed to Medicaid.A listing of any eligibility requests rejected for procedural reasons (such as incorrect MA number).

Note: The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will provide you free EDS software to do this. However, it requires re-entering all of the basic client data.  Reporting capabilities for the free software are limited.

Requirements:

§          Your database must support export of data fields to ASCII text.

§          Your agency will have to apply for a provider identification number.
